Wild Yam: Found in the forests of Sikkim, wild yam has been traditionally used for its antispasmodic properties. A paste made from wild yam is applied to the lower abdomen to ease pain.
Cinnamon: Another common spice, cinnamon is believed to improve blood circulation and reduce menstrual pain. Cinnamon tea or simply chewing cinnamon sticks is a common practice among tribal women.
